Alex Bregman went 2 for 4 with one walk and had two put-outs at third base (1st & 2nd inning).
Alex’s first hit came in the first inning facing Mariners pitcher Ljay Newsome. With a 2-2 count, Alex singled on a ground ball to center fielder Kyle Lewis on a 91.8 MPH four-seam fastball.

In the top 7th, Alex faced Mariners pitcher Brandon Brennon catching the 1-2 fifth pitch (92.9 MPH Sinker) resulting in a sharp line drive to left fielder Jake Fraley, advancing Michael Brantley to 2nd.
The current postseason projections have the Astros as the sixth seed which would place them in a best-of-three Wild Card Series against the division-champion Oakland A’s.
